I am not quite sure anymore how I exactly found iiÂn Handmade Crochet Shop… Since I was a teenager, I was dreaming of a white short 70s crochet dress. I remember unsuccessfully browsing vintage shops in London, Paris, Edinburgh or Zurich, never finding anything similar to what I was imagining. Then, when I chose Hoi An - renowned as Vietnam’s tailoring capital - as my next travel destination, I tried to find a tailor who could make me something similar, when I stumbled upon the Instagram account of iiÂn Handmade Crochet Shop researching for crochet in Hoi an on Google. On my first day in Hoi An, I went to the little shop to check it out. It took me a moment to find it, since it is hidden in a blind alley in Hoi An’s old town. It is easy to miss, so I recommend to use Google Maps to find it, in case you are struggling to find it.
I managed to disturb Tú on her lunch break. However, the sweet and lovely person she is, she welcomed me warmly and let me browse her creations. Yes, every single piece you find at iiÂn Handmade Crochet Shop is either made by Tú herself or by her lovely daughter iiÂn. Tú named the shop after her daughter. I found a super cute white crochet top that was like made for me! And a long white crochet dress that fit me like a glove.

Tú is the kind of person that can make dreams come true: The top was exactly how I always imagined that white short 70s crochet dress I was dreaming of every sincewhitewhilob. I remembered having read that Tú does custom-made crochet. So the next day I went back to her little shop and asked if she could transform that shirt into a mini-dress. And how she could! A few days later, I could pick my crochet dress up. She made my teenage-dream come true. I was literally hooked now (no pun intended)! Tú not only will custom-crochet whatever you desire, she also ships worldwide. I placed an order with a camisole, a cardigan and a black dress with long sleeves.
Originally from Hanoi, Tú is a self-taught crochet artist. All her pieces are one of a kind. Crochet is her passion and her calling. Sexy, cute, romantic, elegant - she either has it already in her shop or will make it for you! And she and her daugher are both such amazing lovely and kind people. Recently, in May 2026 Tù opened another shop in Da Nang. The shop is located on 85 Trần Bạch Đằng, Ngũ Hành Sơn, Đà Nẵng 550000. Some of the products are handcrafted by persons with disabilities. Tù and her daughter collaborate with a special school that helps to create jobs for disadvantaged people in society.
